The Keysight 6050 Series of DC Electronic Loads are suitable for the evaluation and test of dc power sources and power components and are ideal for manufacturing, incoming inspection, and research and development applications. These electronic loads are enhanced to address many types of dynamic loading applications. The 6050 Series is explicitly created for steadiness in applications where quick transients are applied to the load inputs, including during dc power supply startup characterization or transient reaction assessment. These dc electronic loads react to directions from the SCPI command set. The dc electronic load series is also compatible with the 59510A relay accessory, which delivers physical isolation of the dc electronic load from the device under test or another test device by changing power and sense leads.

The 6050 Series can be used for both manual use on the bench or system applications. There are six volatile user designated states, which permit the user to effortlessly store settings to be recalled in the future. Another user designated power-up state lets the user choose settings that are remembered when the model is turned off, then recalled when it is powered on again.
