National Instruments PCI-5105 Oscilloscope
The NI PCI-5105 is a high-density Oscilloscope/Digitizer with eight simultaneous sampled channels. It includes a wide arrangement of input ranges from 50 mV to 30 V, software-selectable 50 or 1 M input impedance, deep onboard memory to 512 MB, a wide assortment of triggering options, and tight synchronization capacity. With the PCI-5105, the user can develop to 136 phase-coherent channels in one PCI body. The user can also program more than 50 built-in estimation and analysis functions straightforwardly from the driver and extend them to more than 400 capacities with NI LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI software. Other software like Measurement Studio, Microsoft Visual C/C++, or .NET can be used in programming the device. This model has three part numbers with different onboard memory capacities: 779686-01 (16 MB), 779686-02 (128 MB), and 779686-03 (512 MB). The device has a maximum bandwidth of 60 MHz and a maximum sample rate of 60 MS per second.
PCI modules can be set in PCI peripheral openings or PCI Express Hybrid peripheral spaces. Because of high spectral noise content below 5 kHz caused by some PC chassis, spectral execution for the National Instruments PCI-5105 Oscilloscope is around 5 kHz or more.
The NI-SCOPE Soft Front Panel (SFP) permits intuitive control of the PCI-5105. This control of the National Instruments PCI-5105 is most readily accessible in the NI-SCOPE SFP adaptation 14.1. The NI-SCOPE SFP is incorporated on the NI-SCOPE media. NI Measurement Automation Explorer (MAX) gives intuitive arrangement and test devices for the PCI-5105 Oscilloscope. MAX is also incorporated on the NI-SCOPE media. The user can utilize the NI TClk synchronization strategy and the NI-TClk driver to adjust the sample clocks on any number of supported gadgets, in at least one chassis. The instrument is equipped with 2 SMB jack front panel connectors.
The NI device weighs 15.2 oz, and measures 14.0 x 0.8 x 4.4 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 45 °C, a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 71 °C, a noncondensing operating and storage humidity range of 10% to 90% RH and 5% to 95% RH respectively.
The PCI-5105 is available to be calibrated. While the recommended calibration period for individual parts varies, most parts should be calibrated either annually or every two years to ensure accuracy. If you need the PCI-5105 calibrated, Apex Waves provides options. We offer high-quality NIST accredited calibrations through a 3rd party, with an average turnaround time of 1 to 2 weeks. When you order the PCI-5105 with us, you can request basic (unaccredited) in-house calibration that will calibrate the part to the manufacturer specifications prior to being shipped. Call or email us today for more information about calibrating the PCI-5105!
