National Instruments PXI-5620 Digitizer
Featured with 14-Bit Resolution, 1 kS to 64 MS/s Sample Rate Range, the National Instruments PXI-5620 (Part numbers: 778282-01 and 778282-02), is a single-channel Frequency-Domain Digitizer. This model offers 10 kHz to 36 MHz (-3 dB Bandwidth), 80 dB Spurious-Free Dynamic Range, 8 MS Onboard Memory with DDC, and 16 MS without DDC. The front panel of this Digitizer contains two SMA connectors and one SMB connector. The two SMA connectors INPUT and REF CLK IN connectors are provided for coupling the analog input signal to be measured and AC-coupled reference input (50 Ω, 10 MHz) respectively. The SMB connector, PFI1, is provided for external digital triggers.
The National Instruments PXI-5620 comes equipped with a digital signal processing chip, which allows the user to zoom in on a band of frequencies significantly narrower than the ADC Nyquist band. Before being forwarded to the host PC, samples are acquired into the onboard memory of the PXI-5620, which enables the user to specify buffers smaller than approximately 256 samples in software. This Frequency-Domain Digitizer allows external triggering through the digital line, PFI1, and can be triggered using software programs.
The dynamic resolution and range of this Digitizer make it the ideal solution for almost all kinds of frequency-domain analysis, such as high resolution ATE, ultrasound, DSL, Wireless testing, etc. The National Instruments PXI-5620 is a PXI based Digitizer, which can easily be integrated with other PXI based instruments from National Instruments. This Digitizer comes with a broad range of triggering capabilities, as it can be triggered in various modes, such as analog hysteresis, analog window, analog edge, digital edge, software, etc.
PXI-5620 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Digitizer will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
