National Instruments PXIe-5170 High-Density Oscilloscope
The NI PXIe-5170 (Part Numbers: 783690-01 and 783691-01) High-Density Oscilloscope has eight channels sampled simultaneously with flexible configurations for the coupling and voltage range. The NI PXIe-5170 Reconfigurable Oscilloscope is a universally useful instrument that contains a client programmable FPGA for in-line signal processing, protocol decoding, and advanced trigger schemes without dead time. This Oscilloscope gives four or eight, simultaneously-sampled calibrated analog input channels with 14-bit resolution, a sample rate of 250 Msample/sec, and 100 or 250 MHz simple transfer speed. All channels can be independently modified for AC or DC coupling and an input extend between 200 mVpp and 5 Vpp.
Eight programmable digital IO-lines can be utilized for trigger or timing signals or to communicate with other equipment or the gadget under test utilizing serial protocols, such as I2C or SPI or restrictive communications schemes. The high-throughput Gen2 x8 PXI-Express interface of the NI PXIe 5170 is capable of streaming 3.2 GB/sec over the PXI-Bus to the host, for instance to store the information on a RAID-System. The FPGA is a Xilinx Kintex 7 gadget that the user can program with Labview. This allows the user to include custom signal processing or examination capacities. Another option is for the user to program it through HDL apparatuses.
Before the user installs the hardware, they should be sure to allude to the rules in the Maintain Forced-Air Cooling Manual. Following the guidelines in the manual will guarantee that the PXIe 5170 will cool itself effectively.
