National Instruments USB-5102 Digitizer

The USB-5102 (Part Numbers: 777650-01, 777650-04, 777650-06, 777650-07, 185182B-01) is a product of National Instruments with two analog input channels. The analog input bandwidth of each channel is 15 MHz. This module also includes software-selectable attenuation, which helps the user achieve a high range of input voltage. The input voltage range is from ±50 mV to ±5 Volts. The attenuation feature can enhance the voltage range up to ±50 Volts. The NI USB-5102 enables the user to build faster automated test systems at a low cost.

The USB-5102 Digitizer can also be used in a high-speed data acquisition system. This device uses a pair of 20 MS/s flash ADCs. Using these ADCs, this device digitizes the input signals. The range of real-time sampling for this device is from 20 MS/s down to 1 kS/s. The USB-5102 allows the user to utilize random-interleaved sampling (RIS). The use of RIS extends the effective sampling to 1 GS/s. This Digitizer has 663,000 samples of on-board acquisition memory and incorporates advanced triggering options.

The National Instruments USB-5102 has two standard BNC female connectors for analog input connections and one standard BNC female connector for the TRIG channel. This Digitizer provides DC accuracy of ±2.5% full scale at all gains. This dual-channel Digitizer additionally offers software-selectable input coupling. The NI USB-5102 provides input protection as well. The value of this input protection is ±42 Volts. The triggering system has an input range of ±5 Volts. The input impedance of this triggering system is 1 MΩ.
