National Instruments NI-5772 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO

The National Instruments NI-5772 is a 2-Channel, 12-Bit Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO. This device can only work in conjunction with compatible PXI FPGA Modules: Kintex-7 and Virtex-5. The NI-5772 is available in two different configurations: AC-coupled (Part Number: 782097-01) and DC-coupled (Part Number: 782097-02). The DC-coupled version of this device comes with 358 MHz bandwidth and -1 V to 1 V analog input voltage range, whereas the AC-coupled version can operate over a broader analog input voltage range of -2 V to 2 V and has 2.27 GHz bandwidth.

The National Instruments NI 5772 module can acquire samples at rates up to 800 MS/s when using both of its channels. This device can acquire samples at up to 1.6 GS/s when utilizing only one of its channels. This module offers a variety of clock sources. It has a free running, 800 MHz internal sample clock. A 400 to 800 MHz frequency external sample clock can also be coupled with this device through the CLK IN front panel connector. In another arrangement, the internal sample clock of the NI-5772 can be locked to an externally located 10 MHz Reference clock through the REF IN connector.

This model has 2 SMA type Analog Input connectors, 1 SMA type CLK IN connector, 1 SMA type REF-IN connector, 1 SMA type TRIG (I/O) connector, and 1 AUX I/O port. The Aux port of the NI-5772 contains 8 DIO and 4 PFI channels and has overvoltage protection set at ±10 V.
