The NI-9208 is a C Series Current Input Module from National Instruments. This module has three part numbers with a few differences. First, part number 785041-01 has a Spring Terminal front connector, 250 Vrms Ch-Earth Ground Isolation, and is not conformal coated. Next, part number 780968-01 has D-Sub front connectors, 60 VDC Ch-Earth Ground Isolation, and is not conformal coated. Lastly, part number 780968-02 has D-Sub front connectors, 60 VDC Ch-Earth Ground Isolation, and is conformal coated.
Supported hardware for the NI 9208 card is CompactDAQ/CompactRIO systems. The design of this module is industrial standard. The NI 9208 module has a high-channel density, which makes it more efficient and economical by reducing the overall number of modules needed and leaving terminals open for other measurements.
