National Instruments PXI-5422 Waveform Generator
The NI PXI-5422 is equipped for performing self-calibration, which alters the gain and counterbalance of the fundamental and direct analog paths. Self-calibration only uses a locally available A/D converter (ADC) to quantify the output voltage. The user can execute self-calibration on the NI PXI-5422 by following strategies like verifying the DC Gain and Offset Accuracy and adjusting the Analog Output systems. Be that as it may, output impedance, oscillator recurrence, and the calibration ADC cannot be balanced amid self-calibration. This model comes in four presentations: the PXI-5422 with 8 MB memory (part number: 779087-01), 32 MB memory (part number: 779087-02), 256 MB memory (part number: 779087-03), and 512 MB memory (part number: 779087-04). The device has a maximum bandwidth of 80 MHz, with a maximum update rate of 200 MS/s.
The instrument operates using the NI-FGEN driver software which is installed from the NI-FGEN DVD. The DVD also contains the FGEN Soft Front Panel which is essential to handling the signal generator. The software installation can begin automatically on insertion of the NI-FGEN DVD.However, in the event that the user is developing an application for the generator, an ADE such as LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI is required. This waveform generator acknowledges an outside PLL Reference Clock and can phase-lock the inside Sample Time-base Clock to the outer Reference Clock. The signal on this connector can also be utilized as a Sample Clock source. This model acknowledges a trigger from an outside source and can begin or step through waveform generation or course signals from a few clock, event, and trigger sources. It routes the 16-bit digital patter outputs, computerized pattern clock output, trigger outputs, trigger sources of inputs, and a clock input.
PXI-5422 Mature Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the waveform generator will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
