779138-01, BNC Connector, 4 Channels, C Series, NI-9215 Voltage Input Module
National Instruments 779138-01 C Series Voltage Input Module
The analog input module 779138-01, also known as the NI-9215, is made to work with the CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems from National Instruments. With four simultaneously sampled analog input channels and 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for each channel, this module offers a high level of functionality. It provides differential analog input with a high common-mode voltage range.
For a wide range of industrial and laboratory measurement requirements, the 779138-01 provides an input range of ±10 V. Flexibility and accuracy in a variety of applications are ensured by the standard input voltage range of ±10.4 V, with a minimum of ±10.2 V and a high of ±10.6 V. In addition, this module is offered with two connector options (10-position screw terminal or BNC), to accommodate varying setup needs and user tastes.
The 779138-01's operational temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C and storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C allow it to function effectively in harsh environments. It can operate in a 10% RH to 90% RH (non-condensing) humidity range and store in a 5% RH to 95% RH non-condensing humidity range. The module is appropriate for industrial settings because of its IP40 ingress protection grade and compliance with Pollution Degree 2 regulations. It can even be set up to 2,000 meters above the ground.
Because of its tough design, the module is able to withstand operational vibrations of 5 g RMS (random) and 5 g (sinusoidal) between 10 Hz and 500 Hz. It can also tolerate 18 shocks at six orientations and 30 g (11 ms half sine) operating shock levels. Reliable performance under challenging circumstances is ensured by this resilience.
In order to guarantee continued accuracy and dependability, the 779138-01 comes with NIST-traceable calibration and a recommended calibration interval of one year. Its double isolation barrier between the earth and the ground improves safety and immunity to noise, which is important for accurate data collecting in loud industrial environments.
This module is perfect for applications like data logging, industrial automation, and laboratory research that call for fast, accurate voltage readings.
