Part Number 779000-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments cRIO-9002 Real Time Controller. It is suitable for deterministic LabVIEW Real-Time applications as it offers highly reliable and powerful standalone embedded execution of advanced floating-point algorithms. 

The 779000-01 features a low-power 195 MHz industrial processor that supports powerful floating-point signal processing and analysis for deterministic control loops exceeding 1 KHz. Likewise, it contains 32 MB of DRAM memory and 64 MB of non-volatile flash storage for file storage. 

The 779000-01 also offers IEEE 802.3 compatible 10BaseT and 100BaseTX Ethernet network interfaces, supporting communication rates of 10 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s respectively. The recommended minimum cabling distance is 100m per segment. Likewise, it also features an RS232 serial port for connecting peripheral devices. Similarly, the controller can connect to a 4-slot or 8-slot reconfigurable I/O chassis, where a user-defined FPGA circuitry controls each I/O module and passes data to the controller through a PCI bus. 

The power consumption for the 779000-01 is 7 W max when only the controller is used and might reach up to 17 W when the controller supplies power to 8 CompactRIO modules. The power supply input range must be 9V to 35V during the “On power-up” stage and can be within 6V to 35V after the power-up. However, the recommended power supply is 48 W secondary, at 18 to 24VDC. The controller also comes with dual DC supply inputs for redundancy. Likewise, the operating temperature range of the controller is -40°C to 70°C.

The 779000-01 controller works with LabVIEW Real-Time ETS OS, simplifying the development of embedded applications for time-critical control and acquisition loops. The controller supports programmatic communication via TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus/TCP, IrDA, and serial protocols. Likewise, it includes a built-in HTTP server with a web browser interface for HTML pages, files, and a LabVIEW web panel. Similarly, it also offers a built-in VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) server for remote download and communication access to reconfigurable I/O FPGA and an FTP server to access logged data and configuration files.
