National Instruments part number 779052-01 is an identifying part number for the cRIO-9101 CompactRIO Chassis. The NI 779052-01 is a 4-slot rugged chassis which allows users to add multiple C Series I/O modules to their existing monitoring or control applications. It can be programmed through scan mode for quick real-time infrastructure expansion or via the onboard FPGA. The reconfigurable FPGA in this chassis has 5120 logic slices and 81,920 bytes of embedded RAM, providing high-speed control and I/O. 

A CompactRIO controller is needed to communicate with the C Series modules installed in any of the four slots.
