Part Number 780463-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments sbRIO-9612 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller. These devices consist of a real-time controller, FPGA, and I/O on a single board. The 780463-01 features a 400 MHz industrial Freescale MPC real-time processor suitable for deterministic real-time applications. Likewise, it also contains a high-speed internal PCI bus with an onboard reconfigurable Xilinx Spartan-3 field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which has up to 2 million gates. The FPGA has 46080 logic cells and 720 kB of available embedded RAM and directly connects with all the onboard 3.3V digital I/O. Furthermore, it features 128 MB of DRAM and 256 MB of internal non-volatile storage. The module also has 32 analog input channels where the ADC resolution is 16 bits and the conversion time is 4 µs. 

The 780463-01 contains 110 3.3V digital I/O lines. The maximum current per channel is 3mA. The recommended minimum cabling distance is 100m per segment.

The internal power consumption, when no load is being driven, is 7.50 W. The 780463-01, weighing 9.4 oz, is used indoors and is intended to be built into a suitable enclosure with an ambient temperature range of -20 to 55 °C and relative humidity of 10% to 90%. Likewise, the storage temperature range is -40 to 85 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%.
