This high-performance controller features a Xilinx Zynq-7000 XC7Z020 All Programmable SoC with a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor running at 667 MHz. It is equipped with 256 MB of DRAM and 512 MB of nonvolatile memory for efficient data processing and storage.
The 783169-01 offers a dependable and deterministic platform for real-time applications, running on the 32-bit NI Linux Real-Time OS. It is very adaptable for a variety of industrial automation jobs because it supports LabVIEW 2014 or later, LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2014 or later, and LabVIEW FPGA Module 2014 or later. For best performance, the controller also needs NI-RIO Device Drivers 14.0 or later.
With its Zynq-7020 FPGA design, this CompactRIO Controller offers sophisticated processing power and adaptability for unique configurations. It has a tri-speed RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet connector that can communicate at 10Base-T, 100Base-T, or 1000Base-T speeds, guaranteeing dependable and quick network connectivity. The Ethernet interface has a maximum cabling distance of 100 meters per segment and is consistent with IEEE 802.3 standards. It also allows auto-negotiation for data rates up to 1,000 Mb/s.
A USB 2.0 Hi-Speed device port with a standard B connector and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed host port with a standard A connector are also included on the 783169-01 in addition to the Ethernet port. Both ports can support data speeds of up to 480 Mb/s. You can connect additional storage options and peripheral devices with flexibility using these USB ports. Eight C Series I/O module slots on the CompactRIO Controller enable users to customize I/O configurations to match the needs of particular applications.
The 783169-01 is designed to last and is equipped with a flash memory reboot endurance of 100,000 cycles. Control and monitoring system development and deployment are made easier by the embedded user interface capability.
