National Instruments part number 783453-01 (cRIO-9034) is a versatile CompactRIO Controller. This device features an Intel Atom E3845 quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.91 GHz and an on-die 2 MB shared L2 cache. It has 2 gigabytes of DDR3L system memory and 16 gigabytes of solid-state drive nonvolatile memory.

The 783453-01 has two network ports and is compatible with 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T Ethernet interfaces. These feature a maximum cabling distance of 100 meters per segment and comply with IEEE 802.3 regulations. There are three different customizable communication speeds: 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps. The gadget also has two USB 2.0 Hi-Speed host connectors and one USB 2.0 Hi-Speed device port as well as two serial ports. These ports are an RS-232 port and an RS-485/422 port, both of which have a maximum baud rate of 115,200 bps.

With 203,800 6-input LUTs, 840 DSP slices, and 407,600 flip-flops, this controller is equipped with a Xilinx Kintex-7 7K325T FPGA. Along with 32 logical interrupts, it has 16 DMA channels. With a theoretical maximum data throughput of 1.6 GB/s, the FPGA's 128 MB of DDR3 memory is used.

The 783453-01 weights 1,800 g (3 lbs, 15 oz) and has dimensions of 219.5 mm × 88.1 mm × 121.2 mm (8.64 in. × 3.47 in. × 4.77 in.). It is intended to operate in the noncondensing temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C and relative humidity range of 10% to 90%. The device can be stored at temperatures between -40 °C and 85 °C with a relative humidity range of 5% to 95% (noncondensing). Please note that the 783453-01is designed only for indoor use and altitudes up to 5000 m.
