The National Instruments 785623-01 CompactRIO Controller, often referred to as the cRIO-9045, is a rugged and high-performance embedded controller designed for advanced industrial applications. It features a 1.30 GHz Intel Atom E3930 dual-core CPU, 2 GB of DRAM, and 4 GB of storage, making it ideal for demanding tasks such as data logging, embedded monitoring, and control.

The incorporation of a Kintex-7 70T FPGA, which supports the LabVIEW FPGA Module for enhanced control and coprocessing, is one of the 785623-01's most notable features. For extremely distributed measurements, this FPGA offers deterministic communications and exact, synchronized timing via Time Sensitive Networking (TSN).
