The National Instruments 785726-01 CompactRIO System on Module is an essential part of the sbRIO-9651 Model family. It incorporates a Zynq-7020 FPGA, 512 MB DRAM, 512 MB storage, and a 667 MHz dual-core CPU into a Xilinx Zynq All Programmable System on Chip (SoC). This set of hardware components, when combined with a complete middleware solution, improves design processes and lowers risks for a variety of embedded control or monitoring applications.

Basically, the 785726-01 makes use of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture of the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC, which has two cores operating at 667 MHz. The system, which runs on NI Linux Real-Time, combines the real-time performance of an operating system with the flexibility of Linux.
