Featured with the MXI bus connector and a Virtex-5 LX110 FPGA, the National Instruments NI-9159 (Part Number: 781315-01) is a durable CompactRIO Chassis. This model comes equipped with 1 MXI Upstream Port, 1 MXI Downstream Port, 4 DIP Switches, and 1 Power Connector on the front panel. In addition, there is 1 Power LED and 3 User LEDs to keep the user informed and updated about various crucial processes running. The National Instruments NI 9159 Chassis offers an FPGA based high-performance and high-throughput cabled connection with possible data rates to 250 MB/s maximum.

This FPGA is superior to its predecessors as it comes with a unique DSP48E slice to handle complicated math. The NI-9159 CompactRIO Chassis can be operated within the temperature range of 0 degrees C to 55 degrees C.
