The cRIO-9002 (Part Number: 779000-01) is an advanced CompactRIO Real-Time Controller from National Instruments. This model is an ideal instrument for advanced control and monitoring applications. The National Instruments cRIO-9002 cRIO Real-Time Controller comes equipped with built-in 195 MHz CPU, 32 MB DRAM, and 64 MB storage. The storage type is nonvolatile flash to store the files. It also has the capability to execute algorithms for a powerful floating-point, as well as the power to execute deterministic LabVIEW real-time applications. The instrument is specifically designed to be rugged, reliable, and low power, which makes it suitable for industrial requirements.
The National Instruments cRIO 9002 offers various interfaces and indicators, which includes LEDs, a power connector, DIP switches, a reset button, an RJ-45 port, and an RS-232 port. The variety of interfaces and indicators enhances the measurement flexibility for the users. The RS-232 serial port enables the user to connect the controller to display or input devices. This model supports the network interface ports for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX Ethernet and complies with the compatibility standard specifications of IEEE 802.3. The model offers the communication rates of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps. These rates are negotiated automatically for communication with peer devices.
