National Instruments cRIO-9114 CompactRIO Chassis

The cRIO9114 (Part Numbers: 780918-01 and 780918-02) CompactRIO Chassis comes with a Scan Interface mode that empowers the user to utilize C Series modules specifically from LabVIEW Real-Time. Modules that are used in Scan Interface mode show up specifically under the undercarriage in the Project Explorer window and I/O channels show up as I/O factors under the modules. To utilize I/O factors, the user can simplify them to LabVIEW Real-Time VIs. In Scan Interface mode, the user does not have to perform any LabVIEW FPGA advancement or program correspondence amongst FPGA and Host VIs. The user additionally does not have to wait for VIs to be gathered to the FPGA before conveying and running them. In Scan Interface mode, LabVIEW programs the FPGA on the CompactRIO model to work with the factors. The NI cRIO 9114 has 8 slots and a Virtex-5 LX50 FPGA. The cRIO 9114 also has several mounting options: on a rack, in an enclosure, on a 35 mm DIN rail, or on a desktop.

In LabVIEW FPGA Interface mode, it is possible for the user to utilize LabVIEW FPGA programming to include greater adaptability, customization, and deterministic planning to their applications. To utilize the CompactRIO framework in LabVIEW FPGA Interface mode, the user should either have the LabVIEW FPGA Module introduced on the host PC or approach an arranged bit-file that can be downloaded to the FPGA.
