National Instruments sbRIO-9623 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller

Featured with 16, 12-bit analog input channels and four 12-bit analog output channels, the sbRIO-9623 is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller. This Controller has the capability to supply immense processing power required in high-volume, complicated OEM applications. The NI sbRIO-9623 not only contains a 400 MHz microprocessor, but also has a robust, user-programmable FPGA. The FPGA is a Spartan-6 LX25 FPGA.  In this CompactRIO Single-Board Controller, you get all the processing hardware (RAM, CPU, FPGA etc.), digital I/O, and analog I/O housed on one board. 

The availability of 96 digital lines and four 3.3V digital lines make this Controller an ideal solution for a variety of applications. All the analog input, analog output, and digital lines on this CompactRIO Single-Board Controller can be accessed via the RMC connector. The RMC connector utilized in this Controller is a high-bandwidth and high-speed connector that provides a direct connectivity between the digital I/O FPGA lines and the microprocessor. The analog input channels on the sbRIO 9623 are 0-5 V, multiplexed, single-ended channels.

The analog output (AO) channels included in this CompactRIO Controller are capable of driving voltages within a range of 0 V to 5 V. The NI sbRIO-9623 comes equipped with an RS-232 serial communication port (COM 1). Users can utilize the serial port for attaching external peripheral devices, such as display monitors and input devices. This Controller can acquire samples at 500 kS/s maximum aggregate sampling rate through the analog inputs and generate analog outputs at a maximum update rate of 336 kS/s.

sbRIO-9623 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
