National Instruments 788511-01 Sound and Vibration Module

The National Instruments 788511-01 is a Sound and Vibration Module. It is also known as the PXIe-4468 unit and is designed for precision measurements in sound and vibration applications. The module features 2 x simultaneously sampled input channels that supports differential or pseudodifferential configurations along with software-selectable AC/DC coupling. This NI 788511-01 unit utilizes a 24-bit delta-sigma ADC with a sampling rate range from 100 S/s to 250 kS/s. The module is equipped with 6 x gain settings that allow users to configure input ranges to suit specific measurement needs along with a maximum overvoltage protection of ±42.4 V peak.

The output characteristics of the 788511-01 include 2 x analog output channels that are also simultaneously sampled. These channels can be configured as differential or pseudodifferential along with a DC coupling and 24-bit delta-sigma DACs.
