National Instruments FP-DI-AC120 Discrete Input Module

The FP-DI-AC120 is a high-performance Discrete Input Module. The developer of this module is National Instruments. The module can be ordered with the designated part number 778071-01 assigned by NI for easy identification. The module consists of two optically isolated input channels. Both channels can be used when the user needs channel-to-channel isolation. This Discrete Input Module contains two status indication lights in order to identify the running information of each channel. If the indication is lit, the channel is in the ON state; otherwise it is in the OFF state. The individual channels of this module are isolated. Hence, the user has the liberty to use the module either for sourcing or sinking devices as needed.  

The NI FP-DI-AC120 is designed for the wide range of voltage from 0 to 140 VAC/VDC, while the nominal input voltage of the device is 120 VAC. The minimum ON state voltage of this device should be 90 VAC, while the maximum OFF state voltage must be 25 VAC. The input impedance of this Discrete Input Module is 22 kΩ, while the maximum delay time of this module is 20 ms.  

The minimum current level for the NI FP-DI-AC120 during the ON state is 4.1 mA. The maximum current level during the OFF state is 1.1 mA. The maximum power requirement for this Discrete Input Module is 60 mW. The scan time for the module is 0.2 ms. The operating temperature of the FP-DI-AC120 ranges between -40° to 70° C.
