National Instruments PXIe-5775 PXI FlexRIO Digitizer

The PXIe-5775 is a PXI FlexRIO Digitizer. National Instruments (NI) fabricates the PXIe-5775 FlexRIO Digitizer. The NI PXIe-5775 comes with three different part numbers. These different versions share the same technical parameters and performance, except the dynamic RAM and type of FPGA. Part number 785590-01 has a KU035 FPGA, part number 785591-01 has a KU040 FPGA, and part number 785592-01 has a KU060 FPGA. The PXIe-5775 can either be programmed by the FlexRIO driver software or from the design libraries for FlexRIO in the NI LabVIEW software. The technical characteristics of the NI PXIe-5775 make the PXI FlexRIO Digitizer suitable for applications that require high bandwidth frequencies. The applications the PXIe-5775 can be used for include, but are not limited to, radar prototyping and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR).

The National Instruments PXIe-5775 FlexRIO Digitizer has 2 single-ended voltage input channels with SMA connectors. The NI PXIe-5775 has a 12-bit analog-to-digital (ADC) resolution. In single-channel mode, the PXIe-5775 features a sampling rate of 6.4 GS/s. In dual channel mode, the sampling rate is 3.2 GS/s per channel. Moreover, the NI PXIe-5775 Digitizer contains 8 single-ended digital I/O channels with individual channel direction control. These digital I/O channels feature 5 V Molex™ Nano-Pitch I/O™ connectors for interfacing. The high-speed digital I/O interface of the PXIe-5775 supports the data range of 500 Mbps to 16.375 Gbps.

The PXIe-5775 FlexRIO Digitizer’s is designed for the PCI Express Gen-3 x8 form factor. The NI PXIe-5775 consumes a total of 58 W power during operation. The performance of the PXIe-5775 is also dependent on the ambient operating temperature. The operating temperature range of the NI PXIe-5775 is 0^{o C} to 55^o C.
