National Instruments PCI-8513/2 CAN Interface Device
The PCI-8513/2 (Part number: 780684-02) is a 2-port, programming selectable controller area network (CAN) Interface Device. All NI-XNET PCI interfaces highlight a NI RTSI synchronization connector for steering synchronization motions between NI RTSI-empowered boards. All NI-XNET PXI interfaces course RTSI signals over the PXI timing and synchronization bus situated in the PXI backplane. The NI PCI-8513/2 interface includes front-panel sync connectors for directing planning and synchronization signals to outside gear. The NI device is equipped with two 9-Pin I/O connectors. It also features TJA1054A, TJA1041, and AU5790 transceivers.
With the PCI-8513/2 CAN Interface Device, the user can choose each port exclusively on one of the accompanying handsets: fast, low-speed/fault-tolerant, or single wire. When a handset is chosen, it associates its locally available handsets to the port and carries on the same as a dedicated interface. Programming selectable interfaces are perfect for applications that require interfacing with different sorts of CAN systems, such as creation test, check and approval, and adaptable equipment insider savvy test systems.
