National Instruments developed the sophisticated embedded controller 785545-01, often known as the PXIe-8821 model, specifically for PXI systems. This controller is built around an Intel Core i3 4110E dual-core CPU, which operates at 2.6 GHz and provides strong performance for test and measurement, industrial control, and data collecting applications. This part is perfect for building portable PC-based systems because of its small design. Multiple common I/O features have been integrated, such as two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connections, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, an RS-232 serial connector, and a 10/100/1000 BASE-TX Gigabit Ethernet port.
