The PXIe-5645, previously known as the PXIe-5645R, (Part Number: 782377-01) Vector Signal Transceiver by National Instruments has the following features:

The NI PXIe‑5645 Vector Signal Transceiver addresses the requirement of engineers for a higher bandwidth by offering FPGA-based signal processing for applications, such as radar target simulation, multi-carrier aggregation, DPD algorithm implementation, 5G prototyping, and real-time spectrum analysis. This model provides instantaneous and complex I/Q bandwidth which functions for improved measurement precision.

The PXIe 5645 supports an RF frequency range from 65 MHz to 6 GHz. It is a high-performance Vector Signal Transceiver that is designed for advanced application testing. The NI PXIe‑5645 is a versatile form factor that can either be used as a vector signal generator or vector signal analyzer. This model additionally features FPGA-based real-time signal processing and control. The PXIe‑5645 has a differential or single-ended baseband I/Q interface. The NI PXIe‑5645 provides phase noise (10 kHz offset) up to -112 dBc/Hz, VSG amplitude accuracy up to ±0.6 dB, and has a tuning time of 380 µs.

Its small form factor, a production test box configuration, and fast measurement speed make the PXIe-5645 an R&D-grade box instrument. This Vector Signal Transceiver is software-designed as it is built on a LabVIEW FPGA.
