National Instruments 781205-01 FlexRIO FPGA Module

The National Instruments 781205-01 or PXIe-7961R is a high performance FlexRIO FPGA module designed for demanding applications that require intensive digital processing and reconfigurability. It features a Xilinx Virtex-5 SX50T FPGA that provides 32,640 logic cells and 288 DSP48 slices for efficient digital signal processing tasks. The FPGA can be customized to fit specific algorithm needs that makes it highly adaptable for a wide variety of real time applications such as data acquisition, signal processing and control systems.

This 781205-01 module offers high speed data transfer rates through its PXI Express interface which is compliant with x4 PXI Express specifications and compatible with various PXI Express hybrid slots. The device can achieve up to 1.6 GB/s of data transfer per bank with its dual 256 MB DRAM banks. This facilitates the handling of large datasets and complex algorithms in real time.
