This FPGA configuration facilitates high-speed image processing directly on the device. It’s 2,048 MB DDR3L SDRAM helps in achieving a theoretical data rate of 10.66 GB/s. This module includes six bidirectional TTL I/O channels with a voltage range of 0 V to 5 V and a maximum pulse rate of 2 MHz. It also features two bidirectional RS-422 or single-ended differential I/O channels that support a maximum pulse rate of 5 MHz with a differential input threshold of ±0.2 V. The isolated input channels that are designed for current sinking and reverse polarity protection operate within a voltage range of 0 V to 30 V. The turn-on current for input channels is 7.1 – 14 mA.
The NI 786502-01 features dual Power over Camera Link (PoCL) with SafePower that delivers up to 4 W per connector at a nominal 12 V. The onboard power requirements include +3.3 V at 3.0 A and +12 V at 1.9 A, with auxiliary voltage support at +12 V at 1.2 A. The overall dimensions of this image acquisition device are 16.8 cm x 11.2 cm (6.6 in. × 4.4 in.) and weighs 180 grams (6.35 oz).
