National Instruments PCI-7830 Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Module
The NI PCI-7830 Multifunction RIO Module includes an FPGA that uses a LabVIEW FPGA Module to create, organize, activate, prepare, and customize I/O estimations and comes with a user FPGA program that gets to the models through the bus interface.
The PCI-7830 module offers a Simple Input Ground that comes with pins that are the reference point for single-finished estimations in RSE setup and the predisposition current return point for differential estimations. Every one of the three ground references known as AIGND, AOGND, and DGN, are associated with each other on this model. This instrument is capable of designing each RTSI trigger line either as an info or an output signal. Since each trigger line on the RTSI transport is associated in parallel to the various RTSI gadgets on the transport, just a single gadget should drive a specific RTSI trigger line at once. The left nearby bus lines from the left fringe space of a PXI backplane (Slot 2) are directed to the star trigger lines of up to 13 other fringe openings in a two-section PXI framework. This design gives a devoted, delay-coordinated trigger flag between the main fringe opening and the other fringe spaces for exact trigger planning signals.
The user can utilize the LabVIEW FPGA Module to make or secure new VIs for their application. The FPGA Module enables the user to characterize custom usefulness for an R Series gadget utilizing a subset of LabVIEW. The Flash memory on the NI PCI-7830 stores the consequences of a self-alignment so the CalDACs naturally stack with the recently figured adjustment constants whenever the NI PCI-7830 is powered on.

National Instruments PCI-7830 Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Is the PCI-7830 supported in the latest versions of the R Series Multifunction RIO Device Drivers?
Answer: No, the PCI-7830 is not supported in the 2017 and 2018 versions of the R Series Multifunction RIO Device Drivers. You can use it with version 19 or with LabVIEW 2016.
Question: What are the Digital Data and Digital Enable FPGA modes on the PCI 7830?
Answer: The Digital Input (DI) is high impedance on the PCI 7830 and doesn't require a latch to hold data, the Digital Output (DO) is low impedance and does require a latch to keep or hold data written. To make these lines use the same connector, a Digital Enable switch is needed.
Question: How do I set the digital line on my R Series card to a high Z or high impedance state?
Answer: All the digital lines on the R Series devices are bidirectional.
