The NI PCI-7831 Multifunction RIO Module includes a client programmable FPGA with which the user can compose VIs that keep running in Windows or on RT software to communicate with FPGA VIs that keep running on the PCI-7831. The user can grow constant VIs with LabVIEW and the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, then download the VIs to keep running on an equipment focus with an ongoing working framework. The LabVIEW Real-Time Module enables users to utilize the PCI-7831 module in RT Series PXI frameworks being controlled continuously by a VI. The NI PCI-7831 is composed as a solitary point AI, AO, and DIO supplement to the LabVIEW Real-Time Module.
