The PCIe-7852R (Part number: 781103-01) is an advanced Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device from National Instruments. The NI PCIe-7852R incorporates eight analog input channels. This device has a conversion time of one micro-second. It also offers an exceptional sample rate for each channel, which is 750 kS per second. This model has the capability to protect the device from overvoltage in both the power on and power off states. The voltage ranges for the power on and power off states are ± 42 volts and ± 35 volts respectively.

The PCIe-7852R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device also offers analog output channels; there are eight total. Their update time is one microsecond and the update rate is one MS per second. A DAC is also embedded with these channels. The value of resolution for these channels is sixteen bits. The instrument offers the slew rate of ten volts in one micro-second. The value of noise is 150 micro-volts in RMS. The glitch energy of the PCIe-7852R device is ± 200 mV for three micro-seconds. It is measured at midscale transition.
