National Instruments PXIe-7822 PXI Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module
Featured with 512 MB DRAM, Kintex 7 325T FPGA, and 128 DIO, the National Instruments PXIe-7822 (Part Numbers: PXIe-7822R and 783486-01) is a PXI Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module. This model comes equipped with a user-programmable FPGA for flexible I/O operation and onboard processing. With this module, users can have the digital lines configured individually as counters/timers, inputs, outputs, encoder inputs, or PWM in custom onboard decision making by using LabVIEW FPGA. In addition, users will also be able to program custom onboard decisions, making that process with hardware-timed reliability and speed.
Each line of the NI PXIe-7822 provides software-selectable logic levels. For direct transfer of data between different PXI Express modules, the PXIe-7822 supports peer-to-peer streaming also. This Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module is well-suited for a broad range of applications, such as sensor simulation, high-speed waveform generation, bit error rate test, hardware-in-the-loop test, and other applications where precise control and timing is required. The National Instruments PXIe-7822 comes equipped with four LVTTL, LVCMOS compatible connectors and has 32 channels per connector.
The Kintex-7 325T incorporated in the PXIe-7822 offers 202,800 flip-flops, 101,400 LUTs, and has an 11,700 Kbits size embedded block RAM. The I/O connectors used in this module are high-density, 68-pin female VHDCI connectors. The NI PXIe-7822 offers a programmable power-on state by line. As far as its physical characteristics are concerned, this module weighs around 183 g, with dimensions of 16 cm by 10 cm. The PXIe-7822 is compatible with x4, x8, and x16 PXI Express, as well as PXI Express hybrid slots.
