The National Instruments SCC-AI01 (Part Number: 777459-20) is a 10 kHz Isolated Analog Input Module designed to operate at 0.2 gain, within a range of ±42 Vpk / VDC to ±8.4 V. This model comes with 2 NRSE input channels and bank isolation provision. The SCC-AI01 Isolated Analog Input Module can operate with 4.5% maximum gain error, 40 mV max (RTI2) offset error and 100 dB typical at 60 Hz common-mode rejection ratio. This module can be used with a wide range of I/Os, such as RTDs, thermocouples, accelerometers, voltage attenuation, low-pass filtering, etc. The NI SCC-AI01 is a small pod, with a tendency to condition analog and digital signals for the user’s data acquisition device.
The National Instruments SCC-AI01 Isolated Analog Input Module comes with 3 poles, 60 dB/decade rolloff and 10 kHz cuttoff frequency (at –3 dB). This model requires 410 mW maximum analog power and 650 mW maximum digital power. For I/O connections, the NI SCC-AI01 has one 0-pin right-angle male connector and one removable 4-pin screw terminal. The SCC-AI01 module offers 60 VDC continuous channel-to-earth isolation and can withstand up to 2300 Vrms
With this model, the user can select from signal conditioning that inserts amplification, isolation, or attenuation to the input signal to achieve better compatibility and protection for the circuitry of the attached multifunction I/O devices. This Isolated Analog Input Module can pick and extract a relatively low-amplitude signal from a high, common mode voltage to empower the E/M Series DAQ device measuring the input signal.
