National Instruments SCC-FT01 Feedthrough Module
The National Instruments SCC-FT01 (Part Number: 777459-01) is a Feedthrough Module that interfaces straightforwardly to the analog input (AI) and analog output (AO) channels of a data acquisition (DAQ) device in the E Series. The breadboard region of the NI SCC-FT01 can be used to create unique signal molding hardware that can associate with and condition any of the analog, digital (P0.), and general-purpose counter/clock (CTR) channels of the E Series DAQ gadgets. To utilize the SCC-FT01 Feedthrough Module for CTR capacities, the user can utilize the pads above connector J2 labeled CTR for associations with the breadboard region. A NI SCC-FT01 signal association label, which defines the pad numbers on the SCC-FT01 Feedthrough Module, is connected to the inside of the enclosure of the SCC module. Regardless of whether the user connects the NI SCC-FT01 to a SCC attachment for AI, AO, computerized, or counter molding, the pads recorded under the “all” segment are associated and can be employed. The device has 2 single-ended or 1 differential analog input channel, and 1 analog output channel when plugged into an AO socket on the SC-2345. It is equipped with a 20-pin right-angle male connector and a 6-pin screw terminal system–with the screw terminal having a dimension of 28 to 16 AWG.
The user has the option to link the SCC-FT01 to the CTR CH0 attachment J19. In addition, when the National Instruments SCC-FT01 Feedthrough Module is connected to the CTR CH1 attachment J20, the pads under CTR CH1 on the board connect with signals related with CTR channel 1 and AI of the E Series DAQ gadget. The user can also access cascading signals from nearby SCC modules.
The SCC-FT01 is run using the NI-DAQmx, traditional NI-DAQ, NI-VISA driver software which are compatible with software packages/application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time module, LabWindows/CVI, Visual C++, Visual Basic, or Measurement Studio. The device hardware can be configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool. The NI device measures 3.5 x 1.15 x 0.73 in. in physical dimensions.
SCC-FT01 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
