The NI SCC-SG04 Strain Gauge Module (Part Number: 777459-16) is manufactured by National Instruments. This module has two channels and is used for different kinds of conditioning. This Strain Gauge Module offers the capability of performing full-bridge configuration strain measurements. Three types of full-bridge configuration are supported by National Instruments software: Full-Bridge Type I, Full-Bridge Type II, and Full-Bridge Type III. Type I solely measures bending strain. Type II only measures bending strain. Lastly, Type III solely measures axial strain. The SCC-SG04 also offers a high-level calibration mode and offset-nulling circuitry for every channel.
