776572-04C, 32 Differential Channels, ±60 VDC, SCXI-1104C, Voltage Input Module
National Instruments 776572-04C Voltage Input Module
As a member of the SCXI-1104 Model series, the National Instruments 776572-04C Voltage Input Module for SCXI is designed to condition medium-voltage signals for data acquisition (DAQ) systems. This module features 32 differential analog input channels, each equipped with a divide-by-10 attenuator stage before the amplifier. The module has the ability to multiplex these inputs into a single output channel, which it then uses to connect with a DAQ device for control. This allows the DAQ system to have more channels.
The 776572-04C is a three-pole lowpass filter with a 10 kHz cutoff frequency on each channel, designed primarily for higher voltage signals. By ensuring that high-frequency noise is eliminated, this filtering capacity improves the accuracy of signal measurements. Because of its differential input signal range, which supports up to 30 VACrms, ±42 VACpeak, and ±60 VDC, the module is adaptable enough for a broad range of industrial uses. Safe and dependable measurements are guaranteed within the specified limitations of the common-mode input signal range, which is ±60 VDC relative to chassis ground.
In terms of digital signals, the 776572-04C's absolute maximum voltage input rating is 5.5 V in relation to digital ground (DGND). A maximum input logic low voltage (VIL) of 0.8 V and a minimum input logic high voltage (VIH) of 2 V are included in the specifications for digital input. With only ±1 μA of input current leakage, it is negligible. The module ensures that for digital outputs, the maximum output logic low voltage (VOL) will be 0.4 V at the same current as the minimum output logic high voltage (VOH) of 3.7 V at a maximum of 4 mA.
With support for LabVIEW, BridgeVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Basic (ComponentWorks), C, and C++ environments, among other application development environments (ADEs), the module is backed by the NI-DAQ data acquisition device driver software. In addition to streamlining the development process, this compatibility guarantees smooth integration into current systems. Its application area is further expanded by the fact that the 776572-04C can be used with VirtualBench and Measure.
