The PXIe-6386 is a Multifunction I/O Module. The NI PXIe-6386 is fabricated by National Instruments. The PXIe-6386 is available with the part number 785926-01. The NI PXIe-6386 module is utilized with a PXIe bus connector. The PXIe-6386 module is configured and programmed with the NI-DAQmx driver software. The NI PXIe-6386 module includes eight analog input channels configured as differential channels.

The National Instruments PXIe-6386 Multifunction I/O Module is designed for analog and digital I/O functions. The NI PXIe-6386 module supports analog and digital triggering functions. The NI PXIe-6386 module provides simultaneous sampling of analog signals using a sampling rate of 14 MS/s. The PXIe-6386 module is made with 16-bits resolution for the analog input channels. The NI PXIe-6386 module comes with built-in NI STC3 technology that renders high-level timing functions. The absolute accuracy of 2688 μV is achieved from the analog input channels of the PXIe-6386 module.

The NI PXIe-6386 Multifunction I/O Module can function for IF digitization applications. The PXIe-6386 module is ideal for transient recording applications. The NI PXIe-6386 module can be used for the manufacturing test of ISDN, ADSL, as well as POTS applications in the telecom industry. The PXIe-6386 module is compatible with sonar and ultrasound test applications. The high-energy tasks in physics can also utilize the NI PXIe-6386 module. The PXIe-6386 Multifunction I/O Module is manufactured with 4 counters with 32-bits resolution. The NI PXIe-6386 module has 2 analog output channels with a maximum channel update rate of 3.3 MS/s.
