National Instruments PXI-6713 PXI Analog Output Module
The National Instruments PXI-6713 (Part Number: 777795-01, 185860-01) Analog Output Module can utilize its inside 20 MHz time-base or a time-base received over the RTSI bus. Furthermore, if the user wants to design the gadget to utilize the inside time-base, they can program the gadget to drive its interior time-base over the RTSI bus to another gadget that is modified to get this time-base signal. This clock source, regardless of whether nearby or from the RTSI bus, is utilized straightforwardly by the gadget as the essential recurrence source. The default design at startup is to utilize the inner time-base without driving the RTSI bus time-base signal (this time-base is software selectable). Part number 185860-01 is for the board only version of the PXI-5713.
The device has 8 analog output channels with a resolution of 12 bits and a maximum update rate of 1 MS/s. It has an analog output voltage range of -10 V to 10 V. The analog output signals on the PXI-6713 are DAC0OUT, AOGND, and EXTREF. DAC0OUT is the voltage output signal for analog output channel 0 and EXTREF is the outside reference input for all analog output channels. The user can utilize this input to diminish the voltage swing on the DAC outputs while protecting the dynamic range.
Two sticks on the I/O connector supply +5 V from the PC control supply by means of a self-resetting wire. The wire will reset naturally a couple of moments after the overcurrent condition is evacuated. These pins are referenced to as DGND and can be utilized to control outside computerized hardware. All external control over the timing of the PXI-6713 Analog Output Module is directed through the 10 programmable capacity inputs named PFI0 through PFI9. These PFIs are bidirectional. As outputs they are not programmable and mirror the condition of numerous DAQ, waveform generation, and general purpose timing signals. The NI device measures 6.3 x 3.9 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C, and a storage temperature range of –20 to 70 °C.
Apex Waves will continue to Buy, Sell, and Repair EOL NI Hardware in perpetuity. While the PXI-6713 entered the NI Maintenance phase on December 30, 2022, it will remain available with Apex Waves. Request your quote today!
The PXI-6713 is available to be calibrated. While the recommended calibration period for individual parts varies, most parts should be calibrated either annually or every two years to ensure accuracy. If you need the PXI-6713 calibrated, Apex Waves provides options. We offer high-quality NIST accredited calibrations through a 3rd party, with an average turnaround time of 1 to 2 weeks. When you order the PXI-6713 with us, you can request basic (unaccredited) in-house calibration that will calibrate the part to the manufacturer specifications prior to being shipped. Call or email us today for more information about calibrating the PXI-6713!
