National Instruments cRIO-9057 CompactRIO Controller
Featured with a Dual Core Intel Atom E3805 CPU, 4 GB nonvolatile, and 2 GB nonvolatile memory, the NI cRIO-9057 (Part Number: 786427-01) is an 8-Channel, CompactRIO Controller. This model is compatible with the latest operating systems and application software, such as 64-bit NI Linux Real-Time, LabVIEW 2018, Eclipse Edition 2014, etc. For networking and synchronization functions, the cRIO-9057 comes equipped with two IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Ports. With this module, the user will be able to achieve <1 μs network synchronization accuracy through IEEE 1588-2008 and IEEE 802.1AS-2011 protocols. Both Ethernet ports, Port 0 and Port 1, support network synchronization and timing functions.
The National Instruments cRIO-9057 has a Xilinx Artix-7 7A100T reconfigurable FPGA that offers 63,400 6-input LUTs, 126,800 flip-flops, 240 DSP slices, 32 logical interrupts, and 16 DMA channels. This configuration comprising of a reconfigurable FPGA and real-time processor enables the controller for high-speed control and custom triggering and timing. For universal bus connectivity, the cRIO-9057 has two USB ports. Out of these two ports, one port is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 Hi-Speed port, whereas the other port 2 is a Universal Serial Bus 3.1 SuperSpeed host port.
This Controller comes to a programmable function interface line PFI 0: an SMB port that is compatible with 5 V TTL signals. The NI cRIO-9057 supports digital triggering sourced from any module or controller PFI terminal with software-selectable polarity for most signals. This Controller consumes around 30 W of power whereas its required voltage input range is 9 V DC to 30 V DC.
