National Instruments FP-AI-V5B FieldPoint Analog Input Module

The FP-AI-V5B (Part Number: 778069-09) is a FieldPoint Analog Input Module designed by National Instruments. This module provides the flexibility to configure I/O systems. Multiple FP-AI-x modules can be connected with the use of the FP-TB-10 terminal base. This feature greatly reduces the size and cost of a distributed I/O system.  The FP-AI-V5B module also offers channel-channel isolation. The module is designed for multiple signal types. A special feature of this module is the onboard diagnostics option, which makes troubleshooting easy.

The FP-AI-V5B FieldPoint Analog Input Module has dual channels. The input type of the module is analog voltage. The measurements provided by the AI module are 12-bit resolution. The input channels of the FP-AI-V5B are single-ended. There is a frequency filter at each channel. This filter has two settings and can be programmed to operate either setting with ease. The supported bandwidths are 20 Hz and 2 kHz. The FP-AI-V5B additionally has an input impedance of 2.2 MΩ.
