The NI-1483 (Part number: 781341-01) is a Camera Link Adapter Module for FlexRIO developed by National Instruments. The NI‑1483 enables FPGA image processing in FlexRIO systems and is suitable for 10‑tap base‑ and 80‑bit configured images. This module supports medium‑ and full‑configuration images attained from Camera Link. The NI-1483 can be paired with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO. This combination enables the NI 1483 to perform custom image analysis. It is preferable for applications which need bit-level processing. The NI-1483 provides a solution for control algorithms and embedding vision directly on FPGAs. FPGA processing is suitable for applications with a low system latency. FPGAs do not require CPU interference.  FPGAs can process images autonomously for progressive pre-processing designs. 

The NI-1483 Camera Link Adapter Module for FlexRio has four digital I/O channels. This module additionally includes two optically isolated inputs. Moreover, one quadrature encoder input is also available and is used for advanced triggering functionality. The NI-1483 is completely compatible with PXI and PXI Express systems. This module can operate with LabVIEW and Windows.

The NI-1483 has a clock frequency from 20 – 85 MHz pixels. There are two camera connectors with 26 pin SDR.  The I/O voltage range in each trigger line is from 0 to 5V.
