The GPIB-422CV (Part Numbers: 180465-02 and 180465-32) is a MicroGPIB Converter for IEEE 488 to RS-422. Part number 180465-02 has 256K RAM and 115 VAC, while part number 180465-32 has 256K RAM and 230 VAC. The NI GPIB-422CV Converter is designed by National Instruments. The NI GPIB-422CV does not require any special commands or programming code for control. The GPIB-422CV uses a transparent data conversion mode between ports. This MicroGPIB Convertor is also equipped with a character buffer. This buffer can identify the slower device and separate it from the faster port.
