National Instruments PXI-6289 PXI Multifunction I/O Module
The National Instruments PXI-6289 is a PXI Multifunction I/O Module with 4 AO, 48 DIO, 32 AI, 18-Bit resolution, and 625 kS/s maximum sample rate. This model also offers two 32-bit counter/timers, analog triggering, as well as digital triggering. The NI PXI-6289 is known for its low cost, reliable DAQ capability and can be utilized in a broad range of applications in research, laboratory automation, design validation, etc. With this module, the user can add high-voltage measurement capability and sensors to a device by using SCXI or SCC signal conditioning modules. The PXI-6289 has two part numbers; the 779639-01 has a PXI hybrid bus connector and the 779123-01 has a PXI bus connector.
The NI PXI-6289 M Series DAQ is offered with a configuration utility and NI-DAQmx drivers. Thus, the user can easily configure this module. As far as its analog input characteristics are concerned, this module features 16 differential or 32 single-ended channels and 500 kS/s sample rate while operating in multichannel mode. In addition, it has 50 ns timing resolution, 50 ppm timing accuracy, and DC input coupling.
The NI PXI-6289 operates with >10 GΩ AI+ to AI GND and >10 GΩ AI- to AI GND input impedance in parallel with 100 pF. For data transfers, this model supports DMA (scatter-gather), programmed I/O and interrupts. The NI PXI-6289 M Series DAQ comes with integrated overvoltage protection for all sense and analog input channels, set at ±25 V for up to eight AI pins. This Multifunction I/O Module supports various triggering functions, including Pause Trigger, Sample Clock, start trigger, reference trigger, etc.
