National Instruments PXIe-4302 PXI Analog Input Module
The PXIe-4302 (Part Number: 783865-01) is a 24-Bit, high-performance Analog Input Module from National Instruments. The instrument enables the user to carry out various measurements with high accuracy. It incorporates the mechanism for voltage, current and thermocouple measurements. The National Instruments PXIe-4302 Analog Input Module has 32 built-in channels. The user can input differential analog signals for required analysis using these channels. The type of in-house analog to digital converter is Delta-Sigma. The mode of operation for sampling the signals is simultaneous. The NI PXIe-4302 offers a sampling rate ranging from 1 S/s to 5 kS/s and a resolution less than or equal to 181.9 µS/s. It is equipped with a 96-pin male DIN I/O connector.
The PXIe 4302 module incorporates a digital filter. The user can select one filter per channel, enabling the module to achieve a high filtering performance. The device also offers a DC input coupling mechanism, as well as a FIFO buffer. This module can retain 1023 samples at a time. The data transfers for the device takes place using a Direct Memory Access mechanism. The I/O of the device is programmed for this purpose. The NI PXIe-4302 Analog Input Module also has a feature for fault protection. The device has a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes, and should be externally calibrated at least once a year.
The PXIe-4302 offers temperature stability for accurate measurements. The gain stability at 10 V is 8 ppm per degree Celsius. The value for offset stability is 31 µV per degree Celsius. Their values at 100 mV are 10 ppm/℃ and 0.76 µV/℃ respectively. This module additionally has the capability to operate at four different sample rates. The user can accomplish this along with the trigger configurations. The NI PXIe-4302 Analog Input Module comes with the NI-DAQmx driver software to simplify configuration procedures for measurements. It can be programmed using application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI.
The NI device weighs 5.5 oz, and measures 6.3 x 3.9 in. in physical dimensions. It has recommended operating and storage temperature ranges of 0 °C to 55 °C and -40 °C to 71 °C respectively.
The PXIe-4302 is available to be calibrated. While the recommended calibration period for individual parts varies, most parts should be calibrated either annually or every two years to ensure accuracy. If you need the PXIe-4302 calibrated, Apex Waves provides options. We offer high-quality NIST accredited calibrations through a 3rd party, with an average turnaround time of 1 to 2 weeks. When you order the PXIe-4302 with us, you can request basic (unaccredited) in-house calibration that will calibrate the part to the manufacturer specifications prior to being shipped.
