With cutting-edge packaging technology, the 778468-01, intended for industrial and laboratory applications, combines several common I/O functions into a single, small unit. It creates a small, durable, fully PC-compatible computer system when paired with a PXI-compatible chassis such as the NI PXI-1042.
With a 2.00 GHz Intel® Celeron 575 CPU, the 778468-01 provides strong performance for demanding workloads. Processing power is ensured by this single-core processor, which is paired with a 1 MB L2 cache and a 667 MHz front-side bus (FSB). With 1 GB of DDR2 RAM that can be expanded to 4 GB, the controller has more than enough capacity for a variety of activities. To ensure there is enough room for data and software, storage options include a minimum of 80 GB Serial ATA hard disk or a 4 GB flash drive.
The 778468-01's extensive range of I/O ports improves its adaptability and communication. It has two Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, an RS-232 serial connector, a parallel port, and a DVI-I port for digital and analog video output. It also has a PXI trigger bus input/output for synchronization with other PXI modules and Gigabit Ethernet for fast network connectivity. Interestingly, there is no PS/2 keyboard or mouse connector included with the controller.
