National Instruments PXIe-4135 Low Current Source Measure Unit

The PXIe-4135 (Part Number: 783762-01, 783762-02, 157420F-03L) Low Current Source Measure Unit has 4 quadrants and sources up to 20 W for DC control. This unit also shows low current estimations, such as a 10 nA go and triaxial network. With the extraordinary analog-to-digital converter innovation of this module, the user can perform high-accuracy estimations with a current resolution of 10 fA or rapid acquisitions at speeds up to 1.8 MS/s. The NI PXIe-4135 is a hardware-timed instrument with a fast sequencing engine to synchronize acquisitions over different SMUs. The module supports the direct transmission of DMA between the host PC and SMU, so it can transmit extensive waveforms and estimation information with the refresh rate and full testing frequency of the instrument. Part number 783762-02 is the 40W version of the PXIe-4135.

Engineers can utilize the modular National Instruments PXIe-4135 SMU to build parallel, high-channel-count frameworks from up to 68 SMU directs in a solitary PXIe chassis that can scale to several channels. Users can expand test throughput by exploiting a rapid communication bus, deterministic hardware sequencing, and a digital control loop innovation to custom-tune the SMU response for any gadget under test. They can also control the SMU response through programming, which removes long wait times for SMU settling and offers the flexibility to help limit overshoot and oscillations.
