National Instruments PXI-7811R PXI Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module

The PXI-7811R (Part Number: 778800-01, 188744F-01L) PXI Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module has 160 Digital I/O and a Virtex-II 1M FPGA. The client programmable FPGA can be used for internal preparing and adaptable E/O tasks. With LabVIEW FPGA, the user can separately design advanced lines, such as inputs, outputs, counters/timers, PWMs, encoder inputs, or specialized communication protocols. The user can also plan inward basic decisions that keep running with equipment-based speed and reliability. The PXI-7811R is perfect for a wide assortment of utilizations, which includes fast waveform generation, sensor reenactment, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, custom communication conventions, error rate testing in bits, and different applications that require exact timing and control.

The NI PXI-7811R PXI Digital Reconfigurable I/O Module requires the NI-RIO 1.3 or later driver software, and is compatible with software packages/application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA Module 7.1 or later, LabVIEW Real-Time Module. This module also requires one connector block and one cable. The cable recommended is a 1 m shielded SHC68-68-RDIO Cable and a recommended Connector Block is the SCB-68A Spring-Screw Terminals Connector Block.

The National Instruments PXI-7811R comes with an instrumentation enhancer that applies common-mode voltage rejection and introduces high input impedance to the AI signals associated with the module. Information multiplexers on the gadget course signals to the positive and negative contributions of the instrumentation enhancer. The instrumentation intensifier changes over two input signals to a signal that is the distinction between the two input signals. The amplifier output voltage is referenced to the gadget ground. The NI PXI-7811R ADC measures this output voltage when it performs A/D conversions. In this model, a floating signal source is not associated with the building ground framework, but instead it has an isolated ground-reference point. A few cases of floating signal sources are outputs of transformers, thermocouples, battery-powered gadgets, optical isolator outputs, and isolation enhancers. The NI device has 2 types of signal sources: floating and ground-referenced signal sources. The device weighs 152 g, and measures 6.3 x 3.9 in. in dimensions.

PXI-7811 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
