PXIe-4331, 8-Channel, 24-Bit, PXI Strain/Bridge Input Module
National Instruments PXIe-4331 PXI Strain/Bridge Input Module
The PXIe‑4331 (Part Number: 781345-01) is a high-speed Strain/Bridge Input Module by National Instruments. This module provides integrated data acquisition and signal conditioning for the dynamic strain and is suitable for providing data for load and pressure measurements. This module is capable of high data throughput, increased accuracy, and synchronization. These features make it ideal for high-density measurement systems. There is an antialiasing and digital filter per channel to remove noise. In this module, each channel features an independent, programmable excitation voltage. The NI PXIe‑4331 Strain/Bridge Input Module provides remote sensing, internal bridge completion and can additionally provide shunt calibration options per channel.
The National Instruments PXIe-4331 provides data acquisition with integrated signal conditioning. This module measures bridge-based sensors, such as strain gages, load cells, and pressure transducers. There are eight channels with 24-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) per channel. This module has 102.4 kS/s sampling rate for simultaneous high-speed measurements. Each channel also features an independent programmable excitation voltage (0.6 V- 10 V). An NI TB-4330 can be used to assist the NI PXIe 4331 with screw-terminal connectivity.
The PXIe-4331 supplies a small footprint and higher measurement performance. Integrated signal conditioning delivers simplified cable management and calibration due to fewer components. As a result, it reduces the installation and maintenance cost. This module uses a motherboard that constantly measures the excitation voltage. Additionally, the module takes data as a ratio of the bridge output voltage and the excitation voltage. This method removes the measurement’s dependence on the stability. It also removes the accuracy of the excitation voltage.
