National Instruments 784225-01 PXI Oscilloscope

Part number 784225-01 from National Instruments is the version of the PXIe-5172 PXI Oscilloscope that features 8 Channels and is equipped with 1.5GB RAM. Versatile and reconfigurable, this oscilloscope offers a range of high-performance features that provide test and measurement applications with flexibility and reliability. The 784225-01 boasts a powerful Kintex-7 325T FPGA that enables users to adjust the analysis and signal processing capabilities of the oscilloscope to fit the specific needs of their test setup. The 8 analog input channels of the PXI Oscilloscope are simultaneously sampled and have SMB connectors that are referenced to the ground. In addition, the referenced single-ended input type of these channels help to ensure accuracy. 

The soft front panel of the 784225-01 provides an incredibly user-friendly way to interact with the device. One of the most useful applications for this front panel is the InstrumentStudio software from NI. Designed for 64-Bit systems, InstrumentStudio can be used in conjunction with NI-SCOPE to control, monitor, or even record measurements taken with the 784225-01. If the system used is less than 64 bits, the soft panel specifically designed for NI-SCOPE should be used instead of InstrumentStudio. Additionally, NI MAX software provides the oscilloscope with interactive tools for both configuration and testing.

Designed for use in various environments, the 784225-01 is capable of being used in various altitudes up to 2,000 m. It has an operating temperature of 0 °C to 45 °C, and a noncondensing relative humidity range of 10% to 90% when in operation. The oscilloscope can be safely stored in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 71 °C. The relative humidity conditions for storage should also be noncondensing, ranging from 5% to 95%. The 784225-01 measures dimensions of 18.5 cm × 2.0 cm × 13.0 cm (7.3 in × 0.8 in × 5.1 in) and weighs an easily manageable 461 g (16.3 oz).
