NHR 4760-6 DC Electronic Load
The NH Research 4760-6 DC Electronic Load is a versatile solution suited for a variety of electronic loading applications, with a maximum current of 300A and a voltage range of 7.0 to 600V. Its maximum output power is 6 kW. The exceptional accuracy of this model's voltage, current, power, and time measurements makes it very useful for assessing power conversion and storage devices including DC power supplies, battery packs, and telecom rectifiers.
The 4760-6's 7-inch touch-panel interface makes control and monitoring easier with its user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI). Six tabs make up the interface; each tab is devoted to a particular purpose, such as continuous voltage, current, power, and resistance monitoring. Because of its design, it is perfect for establishing test programs, troubleshooting units under test (UUT), and engineering characterisation. Constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CP) operating modes can be manually adjusted on the Control Tab, while the Scope Tab provides accurate control over measurements by displaying voltage/current correlations graphically.
Its capacity to generate intricate dynamic load profiles—a necessary characteristic for modeling quick-changing events—makes the 4760-6 a noteworthy device. The load can provide stepped responses, microsecond pulses, and even supplement the DC waveform with an AC component. The quickest transition rates are made feasible by the use of macros, which are controlled and can have up to 100 steps each. The system controller has the ability to save these macros for later usage, increasing the adaptability and effectiveness of the apparatus.
Advanced safety features are also integrated into the 4760-6. These features include programmed safety limits that guard against circumstances like as overvoltage (OV), overtemperature (OT), overcurrent (OC), and overpower (OP). A safety limit is reached when the load automatically stops operating until the fault is fixed, disables output, and displays an error notice.
